I am a small business owner, a community volunteer, and most importantly, a mother. And let me tell you, moms get stuff done.
As Mayor, I will ensure that Tacoma is safe, affordable, energetic, and prideful of what we offer. We are the original grit city. We work hard. We care for each other. We build things. We innovate. We create art. We are our own special place. We deserve a Mayor who believes that we can be one of the greatest cities in America.
I believe that Tacoma is at a pivotal moment. Our city has its hardships and uncertainty, but I also see momentum and opportunity. We can seize this moment to take Tacoma to the next level.

Initiatives for Tacoma
Prioritizing Community Safety
As Mayor, I will lead a truth and reconciliation process for our community and police department. Together, we will re-build trust with our law enforcement officers and invest in all of our community’s safety.
Increasing Summer Childcare
Families are struggling with the burden of childcare - especially in the summer. I will work with agencies, families and non-profits to to create safe, inclusive spaces with moderate investments.
Foster Economic
Growth
Our city needs a fresh focus on revenue generation to address areas of systemic need. Much of this can be done by growing areas of our economy where we haven’t fully realized our potential to do great things.
